THE weapon in PD called the "FarSight."
Looks kinda like The Eraser gun that looks through walls
also.

 |
|
The Falcon 2 equppied with laser.

And to all, a goodnight.

Check out those blood stains on the

"Innovation At It's Best"
Well here it is, the weapon list you've been waiting for. The number of
weapons has risen to 44, which is quite amazing when you think about it.
This includes all the weapons of Goldeneye plus a plethora (and we mean it) of
new weapons created for Perfect Dark specifically. Each is amazing, innovative
and ingenious. Do these three words not describe Rare or what? Below are all the
weapons known, including new ones thanks to IGN and the Nintendo Gamer's Summit.
Ones with this funky color are the newest
weapons to be known or have added info. Enjoy.
- N-Bomb: An extremely and
very deadly weapon. More soon, but View
it.
- Falcon 2: Joanna's standard weapon
including complimentary red laser.
- Maian Pistol: Alien
weapon with grenade-like secondary fire. Very cool reload animation.
- Maian SMG: Upgraded Maian
Pistol.
- MagSec 4: Horizontal fired standard
pistol.
- Cmp150: Fast and somewhat silent
automatic weapon.
- DY357 Magnum: Another automatic weapon
which is of course powerful.
- AR 34: Similar to Goldeneye's kickass
AR33 assault rifle.
- Mauler: Quick and powerful pistol scene
in several of our movies.
- Devastator: Grenade
launcher
- Dragon: Powerful
automatic weapon. Secondary function turns it into a proximity mine.
- Super Dragon: The "upgraded"
Dragon.
- Knives: Use your imagination.
- Laptop Gun: A laptop that
turns into a gun. The secondary function turns it into a sentry turret that
you can pick up and relocate at will.
- Avenger: Similar to
Soviet KF7 in Goldeneye.
- Cyclone: An alien
automatic with laser; secondary function empties the entire clip with one
pull of the trigger. Wow.
- Shotgun: Powerful, cool
looking. Nothing more to it.
- RC-P120: The RCP-90 is
back
- Slayer: A rocket launcher that deploys
rockets that then arrange into jets.
- Shield: Similar to "Goldeneye body
armor".
- Reaper: Automatic that holds 300 rounds
of bullets; bad aiming.
- Rocket Launcher: Yet
another deadly and just badass weapon with lock-on function.
- Sniper Rifle: Who can forget it? No more
sniper sound to it.
- Crossbow: A crossbow with
one amazing reload; challenging aim.
- Drug injection: Provide
Datadyne friends with pure heroin. Joking of course, but this IS a
"weapon."
- Mines: Proximity, Remote
and Timed. Goldeneye style.
- The FarSight: Read below; trust us.
Now get ready for this: the FarSight, was designed primarily as a
weapon to eliminate those pesky "campers," - or your friends who sit
in one spot continuously and ambush opponents, which is annoying and cheap, we
feel. This weapons is described as a "depth focusable heat sensitive
weapon," and enables players the power to actually look through walls and
detect heat. When using the gun, a player's screen switches to green
(reminiscent of night-vision goggles) and illustrates opponents in red. The
catch is that the weapon searches for heat very slowly, which makes it very
difficult to locate and zoom in on a moving target (similar to the Cerebral Bore
in T2). Just search, locate, shoot, and watch them "campers" fall.
This will be one game packed with some amazingly unique and intriguing weapons.
Weapon Pictures Update: 2/29
